The German national football team singing in celebration of the world cup 1974 in their own country.
4 years later this album was released, this time with help from Austrian singer Udo Jürgens. Including the top hit (well, at least in Germany...) "Buenos Dias, Argentina" and other delights such as "The game is over", "Who got such legs?" and "Who made the goal this small?".

This obscure picture disc was handed out as a present by the German "Kriegsgräberfürsorge", an organization which takes care of war graves in Europe and Africa. It contains work by French pianist Richard Clayderman (!).

Willy Berking and his Orchestra play directly from Frankfurt Rhein-Main airport(?!). The record includes such classics as "A Carriage loaded with Girls" and "Pennsylvania Polka".

Song and sound the world around

From a recent flea market trip I came back with this strange 7" containing "sounds picked up by a wandering microphone in various parts of the world".

Another 7" single from the same seller, this time by the great Marlene Dietrich.
